The Tech Mall is a shopping mall with a particular focus on technology and related products. It was built by jonadab starting in quarter 2 of 2020, on the east side of the No Idea-Trisiston Highway, north of Cato's Village.
The intention for the mall is to serve as a reliable one-stop-shop where a player can go with confidence to buy anything technology related and expect to be able to find it. This goal has not yet been fully realized, because the process of stocking all of the shops is still ongoing.
Reaching the Mall
There are several good ways to get to the mall:
- On foot, or by bike. The mall is conveniently located on the No Idea-Trisiston Highway.
- From Elder's Valley or Cato's Village, take the No Idea-Trisiston Highway north. The mall is on the right.
- From Trisiston, take the Sraczka2's Village Bypass north. Just past Corona Canyon, the highway goes into a tunnel, and the North Trisiston Bypass branches off to the right. Follow that bypass east to the No Idea-Trisiston Highway, then turn north, past Cato's Village. The mall is on the right.
- By train. The mall's south entrances are just north of the Iceberg on Bamboo station.
- By teleporter.
- TrollCo CNC, at the corner of Park Place and Beachline Drive in Trisiston, has a teleport pad that leads to just outside the mall's main entrance.
The mall features the following shops:
The Technic shop, on the west side of the mall, is operated by jonadab. It was the second shop in the mall to open for business, and is generally the busiest.
The first floor sells water-powered, LV, and HV equipment, as well as loose parts (machine casings, motors, transformers, coils, drill heads, etc.), and rechargeable garden equipment (lawn trimmers, planters, tractors).
The second floor sells MV equipment, batteries and energy crystals, cable, the more popular types of power generators, switching stations and power converters, as well as chainsaws, and regular and advanced control logic units.
The third floor sells solar generators, parts for building nuclear power plants, and mining lasers and drills.
The Digtrons shop, on the first floor on north side of the mall just inside the main entrance, is operated by jonadab. It mainly sells mainly digtron parts; in the future it also plans to sell complete digtrons, but most of those are not yet in stock, though there are a couple of demo models on the floor.
The Pipeworks shop will be on the second and third floors, on the north side of the mall, above Digtrons. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
The Mesecons shop will be on the north side of the mall at the east end. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
There is a nature area in the middle of the mall, on the first floor.
There are several rental shops available on the first floor on the south side of the mall, across from the bamboo plaza.
There is a food court in the middle of the mall, on the second floor, with tables overlooking the bamboo plaza. The food shops are rented.
The Tools shop will be on the south side of the mall's main hallway, on the first floor, across from Digtrons. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
The Trains shop will be on the south side of the mall's main hallway on the second and third floors, above Tools. Since some train-related items are not craftable, the Trains shop will also feature a teleport pad to the Admin shop and Ministry of Transport that sells them. However, the Trains shop has not been stocked yet, and the teleport pad has not been put in.
The Garden Tech shop is on the ground floor, on the east end of the mall, across from the Bikes shop. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
The Bikes shop is on the ground floor, near the southeast entrance. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
The Shaped Blocks shop, affiliated with TrollCo CNC, will be on the ground floor, just inside the central south entrance. This shop has not been stocked or decorated yet.
The Minerals shop is on the second floor, on the south side of the mall, directly above Shaped Blocks. The minerals shop buys and sells various minerals and metals and ores. It was the first shop in the mall to open for business. It is operated by Jonadab.
BFP's Hydration Station
BigFishPimp operates a small shop just outside the south central entrance, which sells water.
